Construction has begun on the new Girls Dormitories for Catherine House, which is set for completion in February 2010, in time for the new school year. The new building will cater for up to 32 girls, in single rooms, and will provide more homely comforts within the larger common rooms and facilities.
"These new dormitories will provide the necessary space to accommodate current and future growth, particularly with the expected growth of female students seeking residential care", said Principal Damian Wallis.
Catherine House will also be refurbished as part of the ongoing capital works program of the College, re-opening for year 7-10 female students around May 2010. |
